2025 BCA Spring Meeting
The BCA Spring meeting with take place at the University of Leeds from Monday 14th April - Thursday 17th April 2025.

2025 UK Neutron & Muon Science and User Meeting (NMSUM)
The UK Neutron & Muon Science and User Meeting will take place at Warwick Conference Centre, University of Warwick, from 17 – 19 March 2025.
This meeting, jointly organised by the IoP/RSC Neutron Scattering Group, ISIS and ILL, will be a chance for UK users of neutron and muon beams to hear about latest science using these techniques, together with facility updates and other news of interest to the community. The final day will have a particular focus on the ISIS-II project to develop a next-generation successor to ISIS.

The BTM Willis Prize, awarded by the Neutron Scattering Group of the IoP and RSC, will be presented at the meeting.
The meeting is free to attend, and reasonable travel costs will be reimbursed by ISIS for attendees based at UK universities.

MRS Spring 2025 Symposium SU01: Solid Materials for Sustainable Cooling—Caloric Effects and Devices
We are pleased to announce the Call For Papers for the symposium on caloric materials to be held in Seattle 7-11 April. The website for submitting abstracts for both talks and posters is now open. We hope you will join us in Seattle to present your research on Calorics and ask that you also advertise the symposium to colleagues who may be interested. The deadline for abstract submission is October 17th.
It is also worth noting that there is a way for students to get reduced registration by acting as a symposium assistant or by blogging about the event. Should your student be interested, they will be able to apply via the MRS website.
